The Westin Resort & Spa Cancun

Our room had an amazing ocean view from a quiet area, perfect for enjoying the sunrise each morning, and the beds were super comfy! The breakfast spread was fantastic, especially the fresh fruit and local dishes. The hotel's beach access and pool were great for relaxation 😎. The only drawback was that having to sign checks after breakfast could be a bit inconvenient, but nothing major to dampen our overall lovely experience.

The location, the friendliness of the staff who allowed me an early check-in, a late check-out and access to a room to change my clothes.

Correct room but slightly disappointed with the price. Cleanliness of the average room (perfect bed, dust and traces on the TV). We were the last room in the corridor, meal trays in the other rooms stayed on the floor from breakfast until the next morning. hotel was the last stage of our road trip, we had set the price to have fun and enjoy ourselves before departure, in the end much cheaper hotels charmed us much more.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel's beach club! the staff at the royal beach club were so friendly and helpful, making my stay truly enjoyable. They provided excellent room service and even helped me with tours and ticket assistance. the ocean view from my room was breathtaking, and the pools were fantastic. I also loved the spa and wellness center, which offered a variety of relaxing treatments. Overall, I was very impressed with the service and amenities provided.

One thing that could be improved is the pushiness of some staff members. I noticed a few instances where they were trying to upsell services, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Room in which I was the windows are not well insulated have heard the sound of waves all night. Not very pleasant. Also the doors of the other rooms which if not slowed down by hand it closes by itself and slams, I woke up several times in the night because of these slamming noises.

The spa services were outstanding, especially the beachside massage and access to sauna and jacuzzi. We found the room to be spacious and comfortable, with a variety of pillow options for a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly and the different pool areas were quiet and relaxing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, despite some minor setbacks with the air conditioning in the room.

Room of 4 with two small beds a little cramped... The shower, difficult to adjust the hot water... The room is a bit dilapidated for a 5 star hotel... Badly insulated room, we hear a lot of wind from the window to the door, draught.

Pretty good overall. Very good if you want to spend a relaxing stay in couple or family because very quiet and far from the noise of night parties.

If you still want to go out for sightseeing or something else, the location of the hotel means that you always have to take a taxi (relatively expensive to go up Kukulcán Boulevard) to reach the center of the tourist area or the city center of Cancun.

I recently had a stay at a beachfront resort and spa in Zona Hotelera that left me feeling like I struck vacation gold. Let me tell you, the snorkeling trip to the coral reef was like finding Nemo, only better. The bar there takes sports watching to a whole new level, and the choices of gluten-free dishes had me feeling healthier than a yoga session. Plus, where else can you feed iguanas like a true Canadian wildlife expert? A true hidden gem!

I enjoyed all the rooms and staff at the beach. swimming pools are beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel as it is worthy of a 5 star hotel.

Brenda from the hotel desk provided exceptional service despite the disappointing breakfast charge situations and maintenance issues throughout the hotel.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home, while the overall older yet updated vibe of the place added to its charm. 🌴 The relaxing spa services and beach access were just what we needed to unwind, plus the clean and spacious swimming pool area was a great spot to chill. The only minor downside was the lack of valet parking, but overall, it didn't phase us much as the experience was fantastic.

I recently stayed at The Westin in Cancun for a few days and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was amazing and the beach was fabulous. The hotel offers activities like dancing classes and even releases baby turtles back into the ocean. The buffet breakfast was the best I've ever had and the prices for tours were very reasonable. The hotel also provided great service on our last day, allowing us to check out late and even use a room for a shower before our flight. As backpackers, we loved the range of activities offered at The Westin. From games in the pool to dancing classes and even yoga, there was never a dull moment. We were lucky enough to be there during the season of releasing baby turtles back into the ocean, which was a truly amazing experience. The hotel even offered tours to Isla Mujeres, which we booked through them at very affordable prices. And let's not forget the buffet breakfast, which was simply the best we've ever had. Fresh, presentable, and clean, it really hit the spot every morning.

Loved the iguana feedings, Wi-Fi, and grab-and-go delights. So peaceful, I felt completely renewed. A la carte and buffet options were delicious, especially with the ocean view at Sea & Stones Restaurant.

I absolutely adored every single aspect of my stay. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

The lagoon-view room at The Westin was so cozy and had the most amazing view of the water. I loved watching the sunsets over the Nichupte Lagoon from the room. And the complimentary wireless Internet was a plus for me as I like to stay connected.

The beach villa with a fully equipped kitchen didn't really appeal to me.

I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and was very impressed with my experience. This place is located in a not so busy area which I loved and the beach here is so beautiful. The staff was exceptional, providing great service. I especially enjoyed the treats left in my room by the staff everyday, and Marcos at breakfast was excellent. The room amenities were top-notch and I felt very comfortable here thanks to the air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and mini-bar. The leisure facilities were also amazing, with a great sauna, swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and beach access. The spa centre was also a fantastic experience for me, with many treatments available.

Families with kids should definitely consider staying at this venue.

We spent our Christmas at a hotel near the airport, which was very convenient and saved us from the traffic jams in the city center. the hotel had a nice beach and clean public areas, which was a plus. the location was also great, away from the crowded areas near popular attractions. the breakfast options were fantastic, offering a wide variety of food choices.

Our experience at the hotel was not pleasant. the hotel felt more like an airport terminal with ocean views, lacking any character or finesse.

As party people, we loved the lively happy hour and the great breakfast spread, perfect for vegans and non-vegans alike. The pool and hot tub were well maintained, and we had a blast trying out the flow master wave rider. The prices were half of what we've seen in other hotels in California and Hawaii, making this a great value option.

The hotel is conveniently located near the bus station, which makes it easy to explore the city. it offers beautiful views of the sea and is close to a restaurant, where you can enjoy a nice meal. the room and bathroom are clean and comfortable, and the staff provide excellent service. there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained during your stay.

We encountered some inconvenience with the ongoing construction near the entrance, which made it difficult to reach the hotel at times. the beach area in front of the hotel was not as nice as other nearby beaches, with more seaweed during our visit.

We went snorkeling at the coral reef and tried the FlowRider® surf experience. It was lit! Plus, the resort had tennis, golf, and surfing - so much fun for a squad of teenagers like us.

We'd love if there were more lively nighttime entertainment options for us party-loving teens.

The location was convenient, being close to the airport, and the room itself was very comfortable. Despite being due for a renovation next year, the beach and turquoise waters were absolutely stunning. The property offered great value for the price, with well-priced food and good-sized rooms. my experience at The Westin was wonderful and I can't wait to see how beautiful it becomes after the renovation!

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful sand art that Carlos created for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversaries. The staff, including Francisco the bartender, Maria, Marcella, Nelly. The Sea and Stone restaurant, Sports Bar, and breakfast buffet were excellent. Our room had a lovely bottle of champagne and was beautifully decorated. we had a wonderful experience at this resort.

The beach staff, especially Juan, provided exceptional service and made our experience enjoyable. With excellent service and stunning amenities, I would recommend this resort to others.

The kids were also thrilled by the FlowRider® surf experience, which added an extra element of excitement to our vacation. The resort's variety of leisure activities, from surfing to golf, ensured that everyone in the family had something fun to do. It was the perfect end of summer getaway for us.

My wife says that a more diverse kids' menu at the restaurants would have been great for families with children.
